The 2012 Battle of Florida's Meet and Greet and Gin Blossoms concert was held at Mizner Park in Boca Raton on Jan. 20. The two head coaches for the game on Saturday are Bobby Bowden coaching the North team and Howard Schnellenberger coaching the South. They were both on hand Friday night for a meet-and-greet with approximately 100 college football players, kids and families. Bowden and Schnellenberger were unbelievably kind, and engaging with the kids. Frank Chapman, organizer of the event said: "We are extremely pleased with the event in that the night brought the community together and fostered heroes in the minds of children." The opening acts before Gin Blossoms were Erin Boyle and Brett Lowenstern.
